As part of the American Music series of stamps issued by the United States Postal Service in 1996, this four-design set honors Big Band leaders Count Basie, the Dorsey brothers, Glenn Miller, and Benny Goodman. These stamps continued the series of stamps commemorating American contributions to the performing arts. Choose between 2 sets of the 4 stamps issued in this set (8 stamps total) or a full sheet of 20 stamps! Show the recipients of your mail how much they can learn by knowing their country’s stamps. All are unused with full gum on reverse; however, due to the age of the stamps, we recommend use of a damp sponge instead of licking the back, or we might recommend using a dab of a permanent glue stick before mailing.
