As part of the American Music series of stamps issued by the United States Postal Service in 1994, this set honors popular singers Al Jolson, Bing Crosby, Ethel Merman, Ethel Waters, and Nat King Cole. These stamps continued the series of stamps commemorating American contributions to the performing arts. Choose between a block of 4 of the stamps issued in this set (featuring Jolson, Crosby, Merman, and Cole) or a sheet of 20 stamps, which additionally includes Ethel Waters. Show the recipients of your mail that stamps rock. All are unused with full gum on reverse; however, due to the age of the stamps, we recommend use of a damp sponge instead of licking the back, or we might recommend using a dab of a permanent glue stick before mailing.
