Face Value 22 Cents | 1987 | Scott 2251

Featuring 14 achievement badges and in a dark green color, this stamp honors the 75th anniversary of the Girl Scouts. Formed by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 in Savannah, Georgia, the Girl Scouts organization remains today one of the world’s preeminent organizations dedicated to girls. These stamps are perfect for mail to or from any Girl Scout, and can even be enjoyed with a box of cookies!

Interested in more youth-related or service-organization stamps to pair with this one for postage? Check out our other vintage stamp listings, all of which can still be used to pay postage on current mail (using additional postage as needed to make up the current first-class rate). All are mint with full gum on reverse; however, due to the age of the stamps, we recommend use of a damp sponge instead of licking the back, or we might recommend using a dab of a permanent glue stick before mailing.

Shipping Info: We ship our stamps, stickers, and other flat items in a sturdy, flat mailer with tracking for the best protection. Because the post office considers this a “package” and not a flexible envelope, the cost of shipping is subject to package prices. This is the best way to protect your purchase.

T-shirts are shipped in poly mailers.
